The theme stated above is “MY COUNTRY: Dreams and/or Reality.” This theme addresses our perception of the state of our country today. How do we perceive ourselves given what is happening today? You can create work that addresses the psychological or social state of your being in these times, or you might want to address political, social issues (or other issues) that we face today, like feminism, environmentalism, racism, including any present issue in our country. Just present a visual representation that gives others a sense of our reality. You might also choose to focus on the dreams you have for yourself or your country in hopes that we can build a better tomorrow. In essence, what is the state of our country today and what is the state of being that you find yourself in this period of history.
